a short update to the current game situation. In Germany things look good for many people who urge to open up everything back again. I hope everything will turn out well without steering into a more terrible situation. Humans tend to fall back to old habits pretty easy and forget things which they had just learned without doing it more often. I just deleted my opinion about some things because this is not the place to share something like this. Only a few things, I hope you and your family are fine and make the best of the current situation. If you stick together with your partner in these times, you will make it till the end of your life. Be happy, it is no war. Different countries experience Covid 19 and real war. Having no food, no computer, no TV or other things you can enjoy these days while your kids are troubling you about having ice cream. Our earth could even take a breath for a while and after having no snow, we had 2 days of rain, wow. :-( What is it good for to travel to a place having 50° Celcius, not able to be at the pool and having a circulatory collapse drinking alcohol or doing too much sports. Give earth a rest of mankind and stop to reach every point of it. Be wise and think about the future you build for your kids and family.
Which brings me to the EBL.world. We don't need to travel a lot, we #stayhome every day, at least in our home zone. :-) We have home field advantage every time.
I asked the team manager if we want to play the EBL Spartakiade and we agreed on not playing. We keep waiting till things turn out better.
Until things are better, here is another cooking experience you can try at home.
Korvapuusti, aka Finnish cinnamon rolls

Ingredients for the dough:
250 ml lukewarm milk
25 gr fresh yeast
90 gr white granulated sugar
1 teaspoon fine salt
1 tablespoon ground cardamom
half an egg (yes, half)
about 520 gr bread flour (multipurpose is also ok)
85 gr unsalted butter

75 gr unsalted butter
3 tablespoons white sugar
1.5 tablespoons cinnamon powder
👉🏻 Ingredients for decoration:
Pearl sugar (rocks of sugar)
It is better to use all ingredients at room temperature.
In a large mixing bowl, put lukewarm milk, add crumbled yeast and dissolve well.
Add white sugar, salt, cardamom and half an egg, and mix until combined.
Add gradually 2/3 of the flour and knead.
Add butter and knead until well combined.
Continue kneading and add gradually the rest of the flour until the dough doesn't stick to your hands. Do not overwork the dough.
Make a ball and cover it with a clean kitchen towel, let it rise in a warm place for about an hour or until it doubles the size.
Meanwhile, mix the butter, sugar and cinnamon for the filling.
Divide the ball into two portions of the same size.
Roll out the first portion into a large rectangle.
Spread half of the filling evenly on top.
Roll the dough into a tight tube shape.
Cut into triangles and press the center with your finger to make the shape (or you can cut them evenly and leave them with regular cinnamon rolls shape).
Place the rolls on to a baking sheet with enough space between them to grow.
Cover with a clean kitchen towel and let them rise for another 30 minutes or until they double the size.
Meanwhile, do the same with the other portion of the ball and preheat the oven to 225ºC (about 435 F).
Whisk the egg lightly. Before baking, brush each roll with the whisked egg and sprinkle pearl sugar over them.
Bake the rolls in the middle rack for about 10-15 minutes or until golden/brown color (you decide).
Eat them while they are slightly warm. If you want, you can freeze them once baked and warm them up when you want to eat them.
I really have to say this was one of the best recipe written by an EBL member. I am sorry for not sharing the short video I received. This blog only allows YouTube videos.
